pokemon lets go

The latest Media Create charts for hardware and software sales in Japan for the week ending November 25 are in, and Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! has retained its place at the top of the pile, predictably enough. That said, in terms of pure numbers, its performance is not quiet as impressive. Where last week it sold over 660k units, this week its sales stand at over 160k.

Battlefield 5 has debuted pretty strongly, coming in at #2, with just over 110k units sold, with Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories (over 42,000 units) and Shenmue I & II on the PS4 (nearly 38,000 units sold) are also new entrants in the top 10. Fallout 76, which debuted in second place last week, has dropped off significantly to sixth place, with over 11,000 units sold.

On the hardware front, the Switch continues to outperform all the competition. Last week, the release of Pokemon Let’s Go saw a massive surge of almost 400% in the system’s sales with over 200,000 units sold. This week’s figures are nearly half as strong, but still looking very impressive at just over 108,000 units sold. In comparison, the PS4 sold over 24,000 units (including PS4 Pro sales).
