Microsoft’s Kinect-based creation tool/sandbox game Project Spark has recently opened registrations for its beta. Check out the official page here.

Showcased for the first time at Microsoft’s E3 presser, Project Spark allows one to create mountains, landscapes and other structures using simple voice commands and motion control gestures issued to Kinect. This is extended even further by allowing you to purport elaborate weather systems, buildings, enemies, gameplay mechanics and far more.

Much like Sony’s LittleBigPlanet, this allows gamers to create pretty much everything, from simple levels to entire games and share them with the world. From the info trailer below, we’ve managed to glean every type of game from big budget third person action adventure titles to shoot em’ ups and much more.

The possibilities are incredible and if the toolset is as robust as the ease-of-use, Project Spark could become a big asset for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows 8 when it releases.
