Following placeholder listings for PS5 titles appearing on Amazon UK, the console itself was also listed (though the link itself can’t be found). As spotted by Wario64 on Twitter, it sports 2 TB storage and retails for £599.99. Apparently someone was able to pre-order it as well, which is interesting.
That being said, the 1 TB model of the console was also apparently priced at £599.99. A more realistic price would have been £499.99 but that’s why you can’t always trust placeholder listings. Take this with a grain of salt, as usual, and wait for an official announcement from Sony.
The PS5 showcase event is set for tomorrow at 1 PM PDT. Sony confirmed that the show will be a little over an hour long and feature trailers running at 1080p resolution and 30 fps. There will also be some “cool audio work” during the broadcast so make sure to watch it with headphones. Thus far, there’s been no indication of the console’s price or design being revealed tomorrow.
