Ahead of Psychonauts 2’s long-awaited launch in a little over a month, various publics have had the chance to go hands on with the trippy platformer, and while that does, of course, mean that there’s plenty of impressions and previews to check out there, it also means there’s quite a bit new gameplay footage to watch. Game Informer has uploaded a meaty video with plenty of new footage, which you can check out below.
The video below showcases various new levels- one that has a weird obsession with teeth, one where a character’s anxiety issues manifest as a high-stakes cooking competition on a timer, and one that’s essentially a giant library. Plenty of platforming, new enemy types, a boss encounter, and the trademark brand of Psychonauts weirdness are on full display here, which fans of the first game should be quite pleased about.
