Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

Rainbow Six Siege received some new information and gameplay footage at E3 2015 along with context surrounding the setting. It sees Team Rainbow brought back to the forefront to defend the world against chemical threats. They’ll be led by Six, played by Angela Bassett (who you’ll remember from How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Of course we’re serious).

The new gameplay footage offers a deeper look at the tactical gameplay in Terror Hunt as you use remote controlled car cameras, riot shields and even sledge hammers for knocking down walls to advance forward. Combat is close quarters and quite furious, all said and done. The beta for the game will begin on September 24th for all platforms and will contain Terror Hunt and PvP.

Rainbow Six Siege releases on October 13th for PS4, PC and Xbox One. If you purchase it on Xbox One, you’ll receive Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 and 2 for free. What are your thoughts on Siege based on the gameplay footage showcased thus far? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more coverage.
