Reanimal

Terror is a feeling best shared with friends, and one of the most asked questions of Tarsier Studios’ Reanimal is whether it will have a Friend Pass. In a new Twitter post, the studio has finally confirmed the same with more information due in the coming weeks.

However, there’s a caveat – it may not be available at launch. Tarsier clarified on its Discord that it “cannot guarantee” day one availability, but it’s “working hard to offer you a Friend Pass as soon as possible. More details will follow soon. For now, make sure your friends will be ready to be scared.”

If you’ve played It Takes Two and Split Fiction from Hazelight Studios, a Friend Pass lets you invite someone to play in co-op, even if they don’t own the game. As with Little Nightmares 3, however, Reanimal is still perfectly playable solo, so it’s not a dealbreaker if you lack anyone else to play with.

The horror adventure title launches on February 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2, having gone gold last month. After launching on PC and making its way to Xbox and PlayStation last November, the demo recently went live for Switch 2. Unlike Little Nightmares 3, couch co-op is supported, making it ideal for Nintendo’s hardware.

If you’re curious about the gameplay but too scared to go hands-on, check out the latest footage. It offers a peek at previously unseen environments and a massive terror that towers over players.
