Red Dead Online

Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Online will be free to all PlayStation 4 players until May 27th. This is only for the multiplayer mode and also applies to all non-PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you’ve been hankering for a chance to try it out but don’t want to pay full price for Red Dead Redemption 2, then get on it.

It’s probably the best time as well, seeing as Red Dead Online recently left beta. The most recent update also added lots of new content, like story missions, Free Roam events, and hundreds of clothing items for your characters. There are even new gameplay features like Offensive and Defensive play-styles.

Red Dead Online has been doing pretty well. In fact, despite reports of earning five times less revenue than Grand Theft Auto Online, it’s actually performing better than the latter at the same stage after launch. Whether that success will continue to grow remains to be seen so stay tuned.
