Red Dead Redemption 2

Recently, Rockstar released an update for the ongoing beta of Red Dead Online, adding the new Gun Rush modes – which had been previously leaked – as the western epic’s own take on the battle royale formula. In the update confirming the addition, however, Rockstar also promised a few more additions they will be making to Red Dead Redemption 2’s online component in the future.

This includes everything from story missions to more new dynamic events in the open world. Rockstar promises that the story missions will feature “previously established characters like Horley and Jessica LeClerk”, while other new faces will also be brought into the fold. As for dynamic events- as anyone who’s played Red Dead Redemption 2 would tell you, these dynamically occurring events in the game’s open world are some of its best moments, so more of them is always a good thing.

On top of that, Rockstar also confirms that more new competitive Showdown and Races modes will be added to Red Dead Online, as well as new weapons and clothing items, on top of stuff that they’re “not quite ready to announce just yet”. So there’s definitely stuff to look forward to, if you’ve stuck with Red Dead Online since its beta launch.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
