Red Dead Redemption 2: Take Two CEO Excited About “Online Offerings”

"Very significant marketing support" promised.

Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn’t had a whole lot of information revealed since we learned of its existence but it’s got Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick excited. Even as he avoided going into specifics during the latest Take Two earnings call.

Zelnick noted that, “Obviously, we’re incredibly excited about the title. Not just Red Dead Redemption [2], but also the online offering to come. So Rockstar will talk more about the title, but obviously, there is great anticipation both on the part of ourselves and consumers.”

You can expect quite the marketing juggernaut behind the game as usual. “We support all of our releases very significantly. We’re incredibly proud of our marketing teams throughout the company and our support is quite significant for all of our releases.”

“I think you should expect to see, with regard to all of our releases, very significant marketing support.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 was announced last year for Xbox One and PS4 with a release date of Fall 2017.
