Redfall Could Get Delayed to Holiday 2022 – Rumour

Arkane Studios' open world vampire-slaying first person shooter might not hit its intended Summer 2022 launch window.

Arkane Studios’ Deathloop is barely a few months old yet, but the studio’s got some other interesting stuff coming up as well. Hot on the heels of last year’s PS5-console exclusive shooter, the now-fully-Microsoft-owned studio is going to deliver Redfall for Xbox and PC this year. Originally announced for Summer 2022 though, there’s a chance that it slips later into the year.

On a recently uploaded episode of the Defining Dukes podcast (via Pure Xbox), YouTubers MrMattyPlays and Lord Cognito claimed that based on the things they’ve heard, Redfall might not be able to hit its intended Summer launch window, and could instead launch during the Holiday period.

We haven’t heard or seen anything of Redfall since its announcement (other than some leaks), and Summer is just few short months away, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the game getting pushed back by a few months (even though it’s apparently been in the works for quite some time)- especially in the COVID era.

Of course, this is all unofficial and unverified right now, so be sure to keep that in mind. Whenever Redfall launches, it’ll be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
