Alan Wake, a psychological thriller that was released in February of 2012 on PC and back in 2010 for the Xbox 360, wound up being a huge success. The game sold over two million copies, and prompted a spinoff sequel, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for the Xbox Live Arcade and PC. It seems now Remedy are now exploring whether they can develop Alan Wake 2.

Given the popularity of the series, development company, Remedy, has said that they are very much open to exploring the further development of the series. Remedy creative director and lead writer, Sam Lake gave a comment:

“We love Wake and we are constantly looking for opportunities and talking about possibilities of what we could do with Wake.”

“I would definitely love to do more Wake, but it needs to be something we absolutely feel is the right thing for Wake, and the bar is high enough, and this is really going to be cool, not just doing it at the cost of making something that’s not as top notch as it should be, so time will tell.”‘

Do you think Alan Wake 2 will be possibility? Let us know in the comments section below.
