The Dissolving Human didn’t really have much going for it, outside of the shock value of seeing a human melting before you. Its main hook was turning into liquid after being shot a number of times. Yes, that’s pretty much it. When compared to, say, a zombie that collapses to the floor and could potentially fake being dead or crawl towards the player, having to deal with a puddle afterwards is suitably less interesting.
