As the launch of Resident Evil 2 draws closer, Capcom has been hyping up its the remake with new information and footage on almost a daily basis. Recently, thanks to a round of hands-on impressions from various outlets, we got to look at a ton of new footage from the game, while prior to that, gameplay footage showcasing both Leon and Claire was also released. Now, Capcom have released some clips themselves, all of which you can view below.
The clips are all very short, at roughly six seconds long each, and though individually there’s not much to sink your teeth into, collectively, they all show some interesting stuff, including characters and locations that fans of the original Resident Evil 2 will instantly recognize. First off is a clip with the enigmatic Ada Wong, in one of her interactions with Leon, while the other clips show things such as a save room, the Gun Shop Kendo, a zombie dog lunging at Leon, and a zombie trying to break throw a window, which then gets barricaded. Take a look at the clips below.
Resident Evil 2 is certainly looking like an ambitious remake, one that is respecting the legacy of the game it’s based on, but also adding on new things to enhance the experience. Recently, it was revealed that over 800 people from across Capcom have worked on the game, which makes sense, given the shine and polish the game exhibits every time it’s shown off. Resident Evil 2 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019, in less than two months from now. The game will only require 21 GB of storage space on your system- read more on that through here.
