Severe Lack of Puzzles
Another thing that stood out while playing the remake is just how few puzzles there are. There are just a handful throughout the entire experience and most are very forgettable. Compare this to last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake which is laden with puzzles throughout. You can make the argument that this is a more action-driven experience but when the original PS One version has more puzzles than its remake while still being fairly action-packed, there’s a problem.
