Though demos have become something of a rarity in the modern age, Capcom remains one of the few game companies that still puts out traditional demos for its upcoming releases. In recent years, the likes of Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5 have all had pre-release demos, and many have been hoping that the upcoming Resident Evil 3 will be receiving one as well- and indeed it will.

Capcom recently took to Twitter to confirm that a Resident Evil 3 demo is “on the way”, and that more details on it will be shared “in the near future”. Whether this will be for the single player or the multiplayer mode Resistance (or maybe both) remains to be seen- though it’s probably a good bit that it’ll focus on the single player campaign. Nemesis has been hyped up as a huge menace in the game, while Raccoon City’s expansion is also something Capcom have touched on previously, so hopefully we’ll get a taste of both those things. Either way, details will be coming in not long from now, so stay tuned for those.

Resident Evil 3 is due out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3.
