Resident Evil has been on fire for the last couple of years, and fans of the series will be hoping that it will carry that momentum into the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long to find out whether or not it will do that, with the game releasing in just four months from now.
Capcom themselves have already mentioned that development is nearly complete, and now we have another piece of concrete info that might interest you. As per its Microsoft store page, Resident Evil 3’s full file size will be 43.01 GB. Interestingly, the campaign (which is the actual remake) and the new multiplayer mode Resident Evil Resistance will both be separate downloads.
The campaign’s size is 21.93 GB (which is very similar to Resident Evil 2 back when it launched a year ago), and Resistance’s file size is 20.47 GB. We can probably expect the same (or similar) sizes on PS4 and PC.
Resident Evil 3 is out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3.
