It’s no surprise that Resident Evil 4 Remake is a massive hit, selling over three million copies in its first two days of release. The survival horror shooter helped drive Capcom stock to an all-time high and continues to top the weekly sales charts in the UK and Japan. So is it any surprise that critics love it too? Check out the latest trailer below that highlights some of its accolades.

Based on the classic 2005 title, Resident Evil 4 Remake sees Leon S. Kennedy traveling to a village in Spain to rescue the US president’s daughter, Ashley. Upon arriving, it’s clear that something is wrong with the locals, who attack relentlessly on sight. They’re controlled by the Las Plagas parasites, created by the Los Iluminados cult, and Leon has to stop them for Ashley’s sake.

While retaining much of the same campaign, Resident Evil 4 Remake offers several gameplay changes and improvements. Quick-time events are out, and you’ll use a new parrying mechanic to avoid damage. New Attache Cases, weapons like the Bolt Thrower, side quests and more await. Check out our review for more details.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will receive its first free DLC tomorrow with The Mercenaries. Head here for details on all the datamined characters and stages.
