Capcom has released its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2024, providing updated sales numbers for its biggest games. This includes Resident Evil 4 remake, previously confirmed to have sold over seven million units but now with a more concrete figure – 7.02 million.
Sales for the entire series are now at 157 million, up from the previously reported 154 million as of December 31st, 2023. The publisher confirmed a new record high in profits for the seventh consecutive year, with 15 games selling over one million units (compared to nine in the same period last year). Rumors indicate that it will announce Resident Evil 9 this year and launch it by January 2025, so stay tuned for potential announcements in the coming months.
