Resident Evil 4 Remake - Separate Ways

In addition to the launch trailer for Resident Evil 4 remake’s upcoming Separate Ways expansion, several publications in Japan went hands-on with the DLC. Check out the gameplay below courtesy of Dengeki Online.

The footage sees Ada Wong across several sequences, like the ramparts of Salazar Castle, taking down members of Los Iluminados with melee attacks and grappling to specific points. We later see her ringing the bell in the opening village siege, saving Leon before battling El Gigante. The boss fight differs significantly from Leon’s since Ada’s Grappling Gun provides extensive mobility.

Of course, there’s plenty more where that came from, including the hallway of lasers from Resident Evil, the 2002 live-action film. Separate Ways launches on September 21st for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. A free update to The Mercenaries, adding Wong and Albert Wesker as playable characters, also goes live on the same day.
