Amid the success of Resident Evil Requiem, which is now the series’ biggest launch on Steam, it’s important to remember that Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gold Edition are also available on the Switch 2. Both are excellent ports and well worth playing, especially with the Resident Evil Generation Pack offering all three games for just $89.99.
Of course, with Resident Evil Requiem retailing for $69.99, this means you’re getting the other two for just $30 – an insane deal. Maybe a little too insane, though, as the eShop listing for the bundle indicates that it won’t be available after March 31st, 11:59 PM EDT. The individual titles will still be available to purchase.
However, considering their prices – biohazard costs $39.99 while Village is $49.99 – the Generation Pack remains the superior purchase. The fact that you also get all their DLC, including the Winters’ Expansion, just makes it all the sweeter.

As for Resident Evil Requiem, we reviewed it on PS5 and gave it a nine out of ten. It’s easily one of the best titles in the series and, based on reported pre-orders, might be Capcom’s most successful yet.
