Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom’s newest title in its flagship survival horror franchise, has yet to reveal its PC requirements. Nevertheless, it will support Nvidia’s DLSS 4 and Path Tracing for a fully ray-traced experience.

Engine development support manager Masaru Ijuin breaks it all down in a new trailer, which offers some slight new gameplay. He notes that Path Tracing allows for “more photorealistic graphics” than normal ray tracing, including real-time reflections and refractions, complex shadows from numerous light sources, and much more.

Ijuin also mentioned that Capcom is working with Nvidia to “optimize the game for a wide range of PCs,” including those with “entry-level specs” With Capcom’s recent controversies with PC performance, specifically Monster Hunter Wilds, all eyes will be on Requiem to deliver a smoother experience.

Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It will receive a new look at Gamescom Opening Night Live and is also playable for attendees from August 20th to 24th. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
