There was no shortage of massive game announcements at the PS5 reveal stream, with a good mix of genres, first and third parties, exciting indies and major AAA franchises, and more. Quite a few of the games that were revealed have already been generating a lot of buzz. Which ones, however, have been generating the most buzz?
Well, according to worldwide Google Trends data – as shared by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad on Twitter – the answer to that question is what you’d expect it to be. On the PS5 exclusives front, Horizon Forbidden West has been the most searched game from the ones revealed at the PS5 event, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the Demon’s Souls remake, Gran Turismo 7, and Project Athia.
Meanwhile, as far as multiplatform games revealed at the PS5 reveal event are concerned, the most searched game on Google is Resident Evil Village. It’s followed by Hitman 3, Pragmata, Little Devil Inside, and Bugsnax.
Horizon and Resident Evil were definitely among the most exciting reveals at the show, so it’s not surprising to see them trending so much. What is surprising is that something like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is nowhere to be seen on that list.
