A new Resident Evil showcase is set for April where Capcom will offer new details and also discuss the open beta for Resident Evil Re:Verse. The company has also announced that Resident Evil Village will be coming to Google Stadia on the same day as other platforms. Those who pre-order or purchase the game before May 21st, 12 AM PT will receive a free Stadia Premiere Edition.
This will include a copy of the game, Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia Controller, all for the price of $59.99 (or $69.99 for the Deluxe Edition). Stadia Pro members also have reason to celebrate as Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition will be free on April 1st. It includes the base game along with the DLC, including the End of Zoe and Not a Hero story DLCs.
Resident Evil Village is out on May 7th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and now Stadia as well. New details were revealed in a recent PlayStation Japan livestream, like the number of weapons being greater than in Resident Evil 7. Stay tuned for more details on the title (like the upcoming second demo), along with other Resident Evil 25th Anniversary developments, in the coming days.
