Housemarque’s Resogun Defenders is coming out soon for the PlayStation 4 and will act as the second expansion for the developer’s indie shooter. The expansion adds two big modes with Protector, which has different environmental disasters and tasks you with defending other human colonies, and Commando that has you working as a single human defending his planet from various hordes of Sentients. Co-op and competitive multiplayer are both supported.

For those who don’t want the expansion right away, there’s Resogun Challengers. As a free content update, it has new challenges and different Feats to complete for earning various Challenge Points in progression. New Trophies have also been included along with a Photo Mode for different screenshots.

Resogun Defenders will be out on February 17th in North America and February 18th in Europe for €4.99/£3.99. It is included with the Season Pass of the game. What are your thoughts on the expansion? Let us know in the comments.
