It’s hard to beleive it’s already been a year since we brought news about Road Kings, a visually stunning truck driving simulator that’s going to have you driving across America in a quest to build your own trucking empire.
Of course, the dream begins with just one truck and a burning desire to build something that lasts. That’s easier said than done on roads where the sound of your own thoughts could suddenly be disrupted by natural disasters, unfolding situations, or views that are going to make you stop to take in the sights. Anything can happen when you’re on the road, and only the smartest truckers manage to make the most out of that unpredictability.
The game just dropped a new trailer to lock in a March 11, 2027, release date for the game, with visuals that make us feel like it’s too faraway for comfort at this point. It was still good to see some glossy paint jobs on our truck, and we’re quite curious to see just how far we can make our vehicles look like extensions of our personal tastes. That fleet is certainly going to stand out once we’re through with it.
We can’t wait to step into the driver’s seat in this one.
