RUMOUR: Sony Bend bringing Syphon Filter to PS Vita

Posted By | On 04th, Oct. 2011

A rumour in the November issue of Official PlayStation Magazine says that a Syphone Filter game will be released on the PS Vita, and that it will be developed by Sony Bend (via Sillegamer).

Sony Bend are already familiar with the Vita hardware, since they’re developing Uncharted: Golden Abyss for it right now. Incidentally, they’re also familiar with the Syphon Filter series, having developed both the Syphon Filter games on the PSP, both of which were extremely good.

A fourth installment in the series was rumoured to be in development some time ago, and its release date was said to be Winter 2012. Could it be that it was this very Syphon Filter game? I mean, sure, it was rumoured to on the PS3, but rumours aren’t always 100% correct, are they?

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
