Shedworks’ animated open-world adventure Sable is free for PC on the Epic Games Store. As part of the storefront’s Christmas Giveaway, you can claim it until 8 AM PT today. You need an Epic Games account and the Epic Games Launcher to run it.
Sable is set in a desert wasteland where the titular character leaves her clan to earn her mask. Despite some technical issues at launch on Xbox consoles, its art direction and relaxing atmosphere have been praised. It recently received a new update which added fishing and the Angler Hut. Any fish caught could be displayed in The Wash’s Vivarium.
There’s also a new Angler mask, dyes, clothing, and bike parts to unlock, in addition to three new Achievements and Japanese localization. Various bugs and UI issues have also been fixed. For more details on the overall experience, check out our official review here.
