Sony is continuing to accelerate its PC efforts, and 2022 in particular is a packed year on that front. God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man have already launched for the platform, while Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and The Last of Us Part 1 ports are in the works- and even though more releases haven’t yet been officially announced, it’s no secret that others are coming as well.
Of these unannounced PC ports, one that has come up in leaks and reports multiple times in recent months is Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and it seems evidence is continuing to mount that the 3D platformer is indeed headed to the platform.
As reported by VGC, the database listing for Sackboy: A Big Adventure on third party site SteamDB has added an icon image that, crucially, is hosted on Steam’s own servers. Meanwhile, prior to that, achievements were also added to the game’s database with support for a number of languages, suggesting that a PC port for the platformer is real, and might even be officially announced in the near future.
Fellow PlayStation exclusive Returnal is another game that reports have strongly claimed is also headed to PC. It remains to be seen when (or if) Sony will confirm both ports officially. Stay tuned for more updates.
