Square Enix’s SaGa Emerald Beyond has received a new trailer for two playable characters – Bonnie Blair and Formina Franklyn. Blair is a former marine, while Formina is a sharpshooter who joined the police to investigate an assassination attempt. Check out some of their abilities and the characters they meet below.

The two recruits are from Capitol City, which is full of skyscrapers. Like other characters, they eventually travel to different worlds, with only a triangle piece and allegations of their president being duplicitous. SaGa Emerald Beyond has six playable characters, with Tsunanori Mido and Ameya Aisling highlighted in previous trailers.

Like the older games, each has unique stories which can branch depending on your choices. You’ll trigger changes in the worlds and unlock different endings.

SaGa Emerald Beyond is out on April 25th for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Stay tuned for more details on the other characters in the coming weeks.
