Volition’s Saints Row reboot is a ways off, originally slated to release in February 2022 before being delayed to August 23rd 2022 for the sake of polish. Nevertheless, it looks pretty good in a recent spate of gameplay clips that the developer has released on Twitter to celebrate the Holiday season. Check them out below.

Along with character customization, which allows for all kinds of options, we get a look at some of the new beatdowns, ranging from the hilarious to the brutal. The various weapons that players can wield are also showcased along with skills like gun-fu, a flaming punch and much more. Even the wingsuit gets a good amount of time to shine and players can use that propels them into the air, seemingly bounce off car hoods and even get into dogfights.

Saints Row is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out the latest trailer from The Game Awards 2021 here. You can also watch some of its opening missions here.
