Continuing its exclusive coverage for the month, Game Informer has a new gameplay trailer for Volition’s Saints Row reboot with the opening missions. It’s pre-alpha footage but provides a good introduction to the world of Santo Ileso as the Saints attempt to climb their way to the top. Check it out below.
Along with evading the cops, who can be side-swiped off the road, players have to kill members of Los Panteros. They’re one of the three factions ruling the city and embrace its traditions the heaviest. In terms of combat tactics, they the Panteros favor melee weapons, which doesn’t exactly help in a gun fight but they’re willing to employ firearms and explosives where necessary.
Saints Row is currently in development for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC for release on February 25th 2022. For more gameplay, check out the new Wingsuit here and how it helps to get around the new city.
