Hit some big ramps, get into car chases with the cops, or simply hop on the roof and gun down foes with style in Volition's upcoming reboot.

Game Informer continues its coverage of the upcoming Saints Row reboot with Deep Silver providing pre-alpha footage. The most recent gameplay trailer showcases driving and car combat, from sideswiping vehicles and cop cars to hopping on the roof to fire upon pursuing vehicles. Check it out below.

It’s interesting to note how the game keeps track of your actions, like near misses and whatnot, which could contribute to your progression in some way. The health bars for enemies and vehicles are a bit too egregious but perhaps there will be a setting to reduce their size or hide them altogether. Overall though, the world of Santo Ileso is looking pretty good with its desert environments and sunsets.

Saints Row is currently slated to release on February 25th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. The PC version is a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store. For more details, check out our feature here.
