Volition and Deep Silver have lately been showing a lot more of the upcoming Saints Row reboot, from new gameplay footage showcasing wingsuit traversal and the game’s opening missions to a new trailer focusing on the open world of Santo Ileso. Another recently released trailer details one of the new features being added to the formula with the reboot- Criminal Ventures.
Saints Row will see players creating their gang – the Saints – from scratch, after which you will then be responsible for growing the organization and taking control of the city of Santo Ileso bit by bit as you go up against other rival factions.
Criminal Ventures will task players with deciding which business to build and where to place them as fronts for your gang as you take over the city slowly yet surely. Each business will have unique rewards, missions, and characters, such as a waste disposal company that charges top dollar to illegally dispose corporations’ toxic waste, or a medical center serving as a front for insurance fraud schemes. Saints Row will launch on February 25, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
