Samurai Shodown Tam Tam

The revival of SNK’s sandals and swords based fighter, Samurai Shodown, seems to have been a success. The game has finally released on pretty much anything and everything under the sun, and has gotten a steady stream of DLC characters post-release, and one of its main characters even popped up in Soulcalibur 6. It also looks like it’s not done yet, as a new character is set to be announced soon.

It was announced via the official Twitter that tomorrow we will get a character DLC announcement for the game at New Game+ Expo. Nothing has been said about a new season, so it seems this will potentially be a standalone guest character. It could also just be a Samurai Shodown regular, too, since the roster is huge in its own right. We’ll just have to wait for tomorrow to see.

Samurai Shodown is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia.
