Just days after confirming a demo for Scarlet Nexus, Bandai Namco Studios has confirmed that it will arrive on May 21st. The demo will be available first for Xbox, though whether this includes Xbox One along with Xbox Series X/S hasn’t been clarified. Expect more details on the contents of the demo in the coming week as well.

Scarlet Nexus recently had several previews and gameplay footage going live from various publications. Impressions of the combat have been positive thus far with the Struggle Arms System (SAS) and Psychokinesis attacks adding some depth to the hack and slash action. The SAS allows for utilizing the psychokinetic abilities of one’s teammates, adding electricity or fire to attacks in addition to triggering all of the objects in the environment.

Releasing on June 25th, Scarlet Nexus will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox One. For more combat footage and a look at the Museum and Hospital stages, head here. You can also view the opening animation here.
