In its recent Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2021 stream, Microsoft announced that Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus would be coming to Xbox Game Pass today. The action RPG was initially rumored for the service at launch but those reports were subsequently denied. Regardless, it should be available now (though other regions worldwide may have to wait till it’s live in their local time zone).
On top of this, Bandai Namco provided new details on the first upcoming DLC which adds new Bonding Episodes, Crush Vision and some new outfits. It appears that players will have to complete challenges to unlock different outfits in-game (not unlike Code Vein’s DLC packs). This will launch along with update 1.04 so expect other new features as well.
Scarlet Nexus is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. You can check out our official review here for more details. Stay tuned for more announcements from Xbox’s TGS 2021 presentation in the meantime.
