Hellblade 2 Senua's Saga

Updates on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Ninja Theory’s follow-up to the critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, have been few and far between lately. However, the developer has shared a new image on Twitter that serves as a “cinematic lighting” experiment. It features Senua in all of her glory – check it out below.

Of course, it’s too early to proclaim this as a new gameplay screenshot (especially with the “experiment” tag attached). The initial reveal trailer was showcased back at The Game Awards 2019 and Ninja Theory has since confirmed that the game will be running on Unreal Engine 5. Epic Games further noted that the trailer was running in real-time.

For now though, we’ll have to wait for gameplay footage. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s set in Iceland and promises to be twice as big as the first game. As always, stay tuned for more details as they arrive.
