A new trailer for Ys Net’s Shenmue 3 is now available. The idea is to showcase “A Day in Shenmue” with protagonist Ryo Hazuki interacting with NPCs and the world to advance his story. That means a lot of vendors, lots of food, traveling to the arcades and much more. Check it out below.

Arena battles are also important as Ryo can effectively train his martial arts against other combatants. The game’s combat and overall visuals look good at this point with the Free Battle system sticking out in the latter half of the video. While some additional polish will be needed, Shenmue 3 does look to capture the atmosphere of the previous games pretty well.

Shenmue 3 is out on November 19th for PC and PS4. For those who haven’t played the first two games, there will be a special “recap digest” by series creator Yu Suzuki to highlight Ryo’s journey thus far. A trial version of the game will launch next month for backers.
