Skull and Bones Launches on November 8 – Rumour

After years of reboots and delays, it looks like Skull and Bones' release date has finally been finalized, and in true Ubisoft fashion, leaked.

Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones was stuck in a limbo for years, with the frequently delayed, rebooted, and troubled game looking like it would forever be stuck in development hell. Recent months have seen some meaningful activity for it though, and it looks like concrete details on when the game will launch will be coming soon. And it seems it’s launching rather soon.

Twitter page @ALumia_Italia, which routinely tracks the Xbox Store’s backend and updates made to it, recently spotted listings going live for Skull and Bones, which also included details for the game’s pre-order bonuses. Shortly afterward, the user claimed that according to those backend listings, the game is launching on November 8, which was promptly corroborated by prominent insider Tom Henderson.

Recent leaks have claimed that Ubisoft will be re-revealing Skull and Bones in July, so this definitely aligns with that. That is likely where this release date will be announced as well- while recently leaked details about the lack of PvP and limited land-based gameplay might also receive some clarity.

Earlier this year, Ubisoft said the game would be out by the end of the current fiscal year, i.e. before April 1, 2023.

Skull and Bones has also received classification ratings in Brazil, South Korea, and North America in recent weeks. According to those ratings, the game will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Stadia.
