Atlus has released a new English trailer for Soul Hackers 2, which releases next week. It’s all about the combat and how Devil Summoners use COMPs to take down their foes. Check it out below.

COMPs are essentially weapons – Ringo has a sword and gun-style COMP, Saizo has a Tommy Gun, and so on. By assigning demons to each COMP, your party member can access their abilities. Upon exploiting an enemy’s weakness, Stacks are gained, which are used for a massive attack called a Sabbath that damages all enemies on the field.

Ringo also has Commander Skills that provide numerous benefits, like increasing the max number of Stacks, and some don’t consume a turn. These are unlocked at the COMP Smith, Tatara, for materials and money. Nevertheless, they’re worth it, allowing for changing an ally’s demon at the cost of a turn, increasing attack, an extra Mystique slot, and more.

Tatara can also customize the team’s COMPs with new attributes and affinities, but more details for that are coming later. Soul Hackers 2 launches on August 26th worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details until then.
