Following a recent trailer showcasing each party member’s backstory, Atlus has released another trailer for Soul Hackers 2. The role-playing game is out later this month worldwide, serving as a follow-up to 1997’s Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. The latest trailer discusses many aspects of the game – check it out below.

COMPs serve as weapons for Ringo, Saizo, Milady and Arrow, and are customizable with various special effects. Loaded with demons which offer their abilities, they generate Stacks when exploiting weaknesses for massive attacks called Sabbaths. Demons can also be sent on recon in dungeons to discover items or other demons for negotiation.

As you play through the game and hang out with each party member, you’ll eventually enter dungeons based on their minds through the Soul Matrix. Completing these allows for learning more about their respective pasts along with gaining new abilities. Powerful enemies await in these dungeons so exercise caution.

Soul Hackers 2 releases on August 26th worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more gameplay en route to release.
