Star Citizen has become a permanent fixture in the lives of many in all the years it’s stuck around. Though many would argue that the game technically is not even out yet, it has been playable for a while, and constant new updates have been pumping in new features on a regular basis.

Two of these new features recently got detailed by developers Cloud Imperium Games in a new video in their Inside Star Citizen series. The first feature they detail is the Friends system, which will allow players to see their entire contact list, and can be accessed both in-game and online on the website.

Later in the video, they also talk about the prison, which is where players might find themselves for committing any number of crimes (apparently, it’s one of the longest list of crimes in a video game). The developers talk about the prison’s design, how it functions in terms of mechanics and systems, and more. There’s some footage in there as well, so you might want to check it out. Take a look below.

In other news, a teaser of the game’s single player component, Squadron 42, was also released a while back. Take a look at it through hereSquadron 42 is also in line to receive a beta later this year.
