Massive Entertainment’s Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with pre-orders now available. The developer has hyped the action-adventure title’s scale and the decisions that can cause consequences throughout the story. While Gold and Ultimate Edition owners get three days of early access, they also receive the Season Pass.
According to its Ubisoft Store description, it includes two DLC packs that will arrive after launch. They invite players to continue exploring the “world of Star Wars Outlaws” with new quests, areas, and all-new stories. An exclusive mission, “Jabba’s Gambit”, will be playable at launch, and the Kessel Runner Character Pack provides more cosmetics for Kay and Nix.
Jabba’s Gambit more than likely has something to do with Jabba the Hutt, though how it could impact the larger story and Kay’s heist in the Outer Rim remains to be seen. Stay tuned for more details, especially with Ubisoft Forward set to premiere on June 10th.
