Starfield launched earlier this month, spelling Bethesda Game Studios’ first foray into a completely new universe for the first time in over two and a half decades, and it’s fair to say that the sci-fi RPG has got off to an incredible start. It enjoyed Bethesda’s biggest launch ever with over 6 million player, also seeing over 1 million concurrent players on launch day across all platforms.

That success has also been reflected in its critical reception, and to highlight some of the praise the game has received, Bethesda has released a new accolades trailer. Check it out below.

In our own review of Starfield, we awarded it a score of 10/10, saying, “As unfathomably vast and boundless as the subject matter it covers, Starfield raises the bar for its genre and for the medium as a whole in countless ways – much like the best of its Bethesda-developed forebears did in their time.” Read the full review through here.

Of course, there’s plenty to look forward to where Starfield is concerned. With upcoming patches, Bethesda will be adding several community-requested features, including support for DLSS and Ultrawide monitors, among others, while full mod support will arrive sometime in 2024.

Bethesda Game Studios has also committed to supporting Starfield with “a lot” of DLCs of “varying sizes”, with the first expansion, Shattered Space, already confirmed- though there’s no word yet on when the DLC will actually release.

Starfield is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and recently also became available to stream on GeForce Now.
