Fresh off releasing AMD FSR 3 and Intel XeSS support for Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed its next update will enter Steam Beta on March 6th. It focuses on “quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes” as the team prepares for additional features and new content.

The improvements include expressions in Photo Mode for the player character and companions, alongside some new poses for Vasco. The scanner is also getting tweaked to allow viewing the world while collecting resources or opening doors. It will also be possible to change an inactive mission to an active one by selecting it in the Missions menu.

Finally, those who couldn’t find David Barron during the mission “Sabotage” should now be able to do so. Issues that prevented Starborn Temples from appearing and causing the player’s head to turn left when sprinting will also be fixed. Patch notes are coming next week, so stay tuned.

Starfield is available for PC and Xbox Series X/S – check out our review here. Shattered Space, its first paid expansion, is out this year, and based on recent Steam activity, an announcement could be coming soon.
