Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin Gameplay Footage Shows off Combat, Equipment, and More

In a recent stream celebrating the original Final Fantasy's anniversary, Square Enix showed off new gameplay from the upcoming action RPG.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

Square Enix recently confirmed that it’d be revealing new details and new gameplay footage for the upcoming Soulslike action RPG spinoff Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin in a livestream celebrating the original Final Fantasy’s anniversary. True to their promise, plenty of new gameplay footage was showcased for the Team Ninja-developed game.

With several members of the development team in attendance, during the livestream, Square Enix showcased quite a bit of new gameplay footage, showcasing more of the combat, several new equipment pieces (including some that will be exclusive to pre-orders), jobs and abilities, a new cutscene, and more. Recently, Square Enix also unveiled, Sophia, a fifth party member in the game who will be fighting alongside Jack to take down Chaos. Read more on that through here.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin launches on March 18, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
