Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin didn’t exactly enjoy the best possible reveal at E3 2021, with the game being met with skepticism from audiences thanks to its sloppy reveal trailer and its visual deficiencies. Opinion has certainly turned out on it since then though, thanks to its solid demo and subsequent showings that have looked far better. Soon, we’ll be seeing even more of the upcoming action RPG.

Square Enix has announced a Final Fantasy livestream for December 18 (via Gematsu), celebrating the anniversary of the original Final Fantasy, which released in Japan on the same day back in 1987. During that livestream, Stranger of Paradise will be the focus, with several key members of the development team, including Tetsuya Nomura, Yoshinori Kitase, and more being in attendance. New details on the game will be revealed, including how exactly it will connect to Final Fantasy 1.

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is out on March 18 for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
