Street Fighter 6 was fully unveiled a week ago, and though major leaks since then have spilled the beans on who will be populating the game’s roster of playable fighters, until now, the only ones that have been officially confirmed are Luke, Ryu, Chun-Li, and newcomer Jamie. Later tonight, however, another name will be added to that list.

It’s been confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will be among the games taking the stage at Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live later today. The game’s showing will reveal a new character as well as new gameplay footage. Better yet, this is unlikely to be the final showing for the game in the near future, what with the Capcom Showcase set for June 13, and Street Fighter 6 likely to make an appearance there as well.

Street Fighter 6 has joined what’s already quite an impressive list of games that’ll be present in some capacity at the showcase later today. That list includes the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, The Callisto Protocol, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Gotham Knights, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Courseand more.
