Rocksteady is also examining lower-tiered Legendary items that aren't seeing use in end-game builds due to better alternatives.

Along with assuring players that future patches would fix server and login issues for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, game director Axel Rydby also revealed other upcoming changes. First is a buff to Promethium earned from Raising Hell.

Instead of farming Cargonauts in Metropolis for the best gains, players will now receive 3000 Promethium for clearing the first tier of Raising Hell. Each tier will then reward an increasing amount. The Hit Squads are also getting buffed to drop better loot.

Two Mutators – BOOM! and Affliction Immunity – are also seeing changes. Acknowledging that the former may be “restricting the way you can play, especially when playing Harley and King Shark,” the team is working to exclude Suicide Strikes and Shield Harvesting from triggering the effect. Affliction Immunity will also be removed from enemies when receiving damage instead of critical hits.

Rocksteady is also looking at “some of the lesser used Legendary Items to find a home with more experimentation. Some of these lower-tiered Legendary items are not being used in End Game builds, as they don’t seem to be able to keep up with the raw stats that other Legendary, Notorious and Infamy Set items have.”

While the team evaluates this, it wants to hear from players if a specific Legendary isn’t working out. Rydby confirmed that more details for Season 1, which goes live in March, will be revealed soon, so stay tuned.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here.
