Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Sephiroth

Nintendo announced on Twitter that the next update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be going live tomorrow. Version 10.1 goes live after the newest Challenger Pack, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7, which is scheduled to release today. Not many details were revealed aside from the update including “fighter adjustments.”

As usual, replay data from any previous versions won’t be compatible so save them now. Along with Sephiroth, the new Challenger Pack will also add a new stage – which is set during the final battle in the classic RPG – and several new tracks. It also brings a special Spirits Board with Aerith, Tifa and Barret available as Spirits.

Of course, if you already pre-ordered the new Challenger Pack or own Fighters Pass Vol. 2, you could partake in the Sephiroth Challenge and unlock him early. Expect patch notes on Version 10.1 tomorrow. For more details on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, check out our review here.
